The Primary Problems of Vehicle GPS Location Systems:

  • The problem with many competing vehicle tracking or VLS (Vehicle Location Systems) is that they are tied
    to the in car video system or 2-way radio system. Those designing, developing and manufacturing these
    products are often working in a vacuum that overlooks the basic operating parameters and actual application
    for their intended purposes.
  • The first likely casualty of an in car hijacking or assault, would likely be the method the driver has at hand to communicate
    for help, so there goes the 2-way radio communication and the ability of any GPS location, speed and heading
