Pre-Trip Safety Check:
Visual and audible documentation of driver pre-trip bus safety check in case of accident due to failure of lights, flashers, stop arm, sweep arm, tires, and wipers. This can prove the driver had a functional bus at the start of the trip.

Documentation Outside The Bus of Mechanical Problems:
During the trip should something strike the bus, should the bus suffer a large pothole, strike a high curb, start to make a unfamiliar noise, start leaking a unknown liquid, or start smoking, the driver can record the problem (video & audio), documenting the noise it made, from where the possible damage to the bus and where and when it happened. Intermittent mechanical problems can be very hard to diagnose as they may only happen when the bus is away from the shop. All of this will aid in documentation of the problem, the causes, and assist in solving them with time & date stamped video or images.
