The Mobile Digital Video Recorder (MDVR) series of video recorders are designed specifically for mobile applications, and offer dual NTSC video and audio inputs recorded onto a 80GB hard drive. The native capture resolution is 640 pixels x 240 lines which provides superior image quality over standard VHS recording. Output of the live or recorded video is viewed through a NTSC analog output, web browser interface, or archived through a Compact Flash interface to a standard AVI file format.

The Mobile DVR unit provides a complete solution for 2-channel audio, video and GPS tracking capabilities for up to 12 days of continuous recording using a standard AVI file format and traditional analog Audio and NTSC video RCA outputs.

This is an inventory closeout and this product will not longer be manufactured. Existing quantities will be sold on a first come first serve basis only and we cannot hold quantities for future purchase.

There are about 100 units currently available with about half with GPS and half without.
All units have been refurbished, and tested by the manufacturer and will come with a 1 year warranty on parts and labor.
Once this supply is gone they will no longer be available.
*While Ethernet & CF card access was designed and built into this DVR, their function on this model was not reliable enough to assure function and the only suggested way to view data now is to remove the DVR and play back the video from it's own integral 80 Gig hard drive.

This option permits the system to power itself up when any unauthorized persons enter the bus after hours, nights or weekends.

School buses are viewed by some as a very convenient place to engage in many teen related unacceptable activities such as; illegal or illicit sexual activities, secret or impromptu parties involving illegal consumption of alcohol or illegal substance abuse both sale distribution and personal use, as well as gang related criminal activities.

Whether buses are parked at the drivers home or in a schoolyard, the location does not change the fact that the district is liable for all actions going on in their buses. It is prudent to have a bus video system capable of recording what goes non in your buses so if detected you can stop these activities before it cost a child's life and the district a large settlement. This system should provide a wide range of applications on many different schol bus video systems. As loong as ther is a trigger actuation for the bus video to turn on when the ignition is on this device should also be able to activate the bus video in the same manor after hours at night or on weekends.
